Mom,
A great weekend at home calls for some reflection.

1. I love my dad
2. BYU vending machine, so on purpose, stole my vegetable thins. so i bought another. was in a bad mood and didn't want someone to get 2:1.
3. your right advertising...fiberone bran doesn't taste like cardboard. It tastes like dog poop
4. Iron Chef, Biggest Loser, American Idol- thank you for your time this week.
5. Since i didn't have a 4 by 6 index card to take to my test...i just fixed the margins on the paper and printed it out....the testing center wouldn't have it...had to cut it out and tape the paper together...REAL waste of my life.
6. Never going to get the congratulations personal notes coming down the stairs from the testing center. But who knows, I've never looked.
7. I hope kristen does her thang in her auditions in LA- can't believe the woman is 19 on Saturday.
8. Let it be.
9. Working out 4x/week- summer i will welcome you openly in every way. I figured out that the boys that grunt the loudest when working out are the most insecure. After making a scene they look around to make sure people are looking at them. Stink eye given the whole time.
10. 9 year old soccer games....not sure what to say about this. The dad yelling at her daughter every 2 seconds needs to have a 'smile check' from my dad. not cool.
11. Headed to Charlotte, NC this summer- boom baby
12. I'm not a really good pale girl

Feeling very happy this week. Calvin is the best and he makes me feel like i'm worth everything. I smile a lot about that. I need to make more friends this week and look for those that may need one. I'm going to find a new hobby too i decided. It's def. not beading because i'm still not good as that 8 year old in my neighborhood. Also my mind tells me I have no clothes but in reality I do-- i just forget i guess. Maybe it can be actually doing my hair. Well love you mom, thank you for your love...you've got the whole package

Let the games begin

Love for always,

Mom,
Well, my favorite season is gone I think. For reals- it snowed today. I woke up to snow. My cousin told me to go look outside last night to see how big the snowflakes were, but I refused. Also my throat started to hurt last night and now I’m sick today—ugh. So now I’m at home watching food network and doing some homework and wishing calvin would just skip school, also that i can have this dress. So happy we are coming this weekend- Halloween is kind of a lame holiday when you are an in betweener…not a kid and you don’t have kids. Some things I have been thinking about.

1. Byu wouldn’t let my friend take her test because she had a shaved head…um who carrrreeessss
2. It’s hard to coordinate time to hang out with my friends—I need tooooo.
3. Iron chef – I love you
4. Animal planet- I love you
5. I need to dress like an Eskimo when I go outside—oh wait the classrooms are like 95 degrees- lame
6. Emily’s 22nd b day yesterday…love you Em- I miss you
7. Idaho Falls was a blast this weekend! – shout out to the barneys and justin
8. Chocolate rocks from winco....yes please…thanks
9. Note to self—water proof boots make the most sense…
10. Liked this quote : A smile is an inexpensive way to change your looks.
-- Charles Gordy
11. Cant wait to see you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yayayayayayayay

Mom,
Sundays are great days...and also weekends are great days too-- they go by sooo fast though. A couple of thoughts for the deep thinkers.
1. Slow trucks aren't fast enough to pass other slow trucks- spread the word
2. Construction on utah freeways are ridiculous-- let's redo the world in one month why don't we.
3. If you want to hike Mnt. Timp.-- don't wry, i did it for you so your body will be spared (jk it's a blast but on the tougher side)
4. I want to wear hats more
5. I forgot how to get popular in school- and my school has 30 000 -- it's TOUGH
6. I forget how fun coloring is- and i need a new art set.
7. Write a letter today-- it's true fulfillment
8. Ashley Olsen and I need to be best friends still
9. Highlight of the week- some good grocery shopping time ( don't invite me to go because i always take forever)
10. Black sparkle nail polish-so hott right now
11. The electronic 20 questions game is amazing- it even guessed bra and electron....wow

So- let us go take on the week- from the wise words of dr. laura.

Another thing i was thinking about today was that sometimes you just need to get up and do things, and go where you are invited. I have realized i have probably missed out on a lot of cool things just because my bed got the rsvp. So instead of giving in to my lazy side i'm going to try and "take on the day" a little more. Making memories is what life seems to be all about, and i like that. I am going to think about something adventurous to work toward- that will be good for me-- and let me tell you ..it doesn't start with the letter H and end with iking Timpanogos. ha

love for always,
may we smile a little more today

Hey Mom,
Thanks for letting me and Calv come to the beach house with you guys. That was a blast seriously! It's hard these days being a grown up and working a bunch. Oh here is also a random picture of your kids at my wedding...we are kute- you should make money off us. Anyways- I have some good recipes i want to try these days. Oh and i hit Joannes up again. So serious that that place is always hoppin'. We are sad to miss island park this year-- again, grown up things. Hope everyone has fun and gets sore on the horses-- make sure Marcus has 'grandpa'-- or whoever is being the most annoying lol...
Life is good ya know..life is the same thing just a different version of it everyday. I find you can learn a lot from people. It's weird to think about that there are things you don't know until you just hear it...then it's something you learned. That probably didn't make sense, but my thought process got it when i wrote it. So anyway, I feel blessed that i have an awesome family. they are great aren't they-- hope kristen has a blast her first year at Utah State- she deserves all the best ya know. A girl that knows her stuff. Full of integrity and sincerity. I wouldn't ask for more of a sister. We fight, argue, yell, smirk, squint; laugh, eat, talk, gossip and laugh more. Love her- i'm going to miss her even though i left first. You raise some great kids you know- mother of the years. Loves and loves to all the other twiglets....

Love for always,

Dear Mom,
I am married if you forgot. It's really the best, the most surprising thing actually is that nothing really changed that much. He and i are still best friends and we can just spend all the time we want together... Most time we stay up laughing because we can. Life has new meaning. I really have stopped thinking about myself so much- it's a beautiful thing. I'm learning more things about myself than ever-- and i guess i learned that i like myself. The Lord has blessed me through the eternities. Marriage is hard, but when you are continually sacrificing, your love grows deeper and deeper. The wedding was an amazing celebration- filled with family, friends, love and laughing. I made it a point to step outside of the situation and be an onlooker to my own special day. It was a lovely sight. People coming and celebrating in Our behalf, my new husband winking at me, you and dad crying for joy, and a new love for life. Our honeymoon was hilarious- we laughed our way to the Oregon coast and sat at the beach looking forward to the future. With everything good in plain sight- a love for each other and happiness. Now i'm back- to real, real life i guess-- no more than a party. I have learned that i need to enjoy all of the life in everyday and become who i want to become today. It's not too hard when you really stop thinking about yourself...laugh through the hard times, laugh through the good. I am forever grateful for all the past i had to get me where i am. And i have you and dad to thank the most for that. You are my heroes- forever you are my perfect examples of love, sacrifice and joy. May the Lord bless us in our efforts to be happy and give of ourselves only to find them. Love for always and forever,

Courtney Schramm

Hey Momma,
Wow this feel sooo weird- headed off to boise tomorrow to get married!!!!!!! wow i cannot believe how fast and slow this day has come. What a crazy time it has been! It was good to go see bliss (http://www.blissevents.net/)- she's one hecka've a gal- she really inspired me to start looking into new business ideas. Well what a life it has been. Just an ending to a new start. I am marrying my best friend and the man of my dreams. I feel so lucky and blessed to be able to call him mine. I have learned the importance of personal meditation and how to keep my independence while still not being able to leave his side. You really do learn about who you really are when you sacrifice and throw your world onto somebody else's. Can't wait for all of the new and to apply the old. What a bitter-sweet time. I'm a young bride and wouldn't have it any other way. I have grown so much and won't stop. A lot of changes, mom-- you have been there the whole way. Just what any girl would want. Thanks for everything. Your love has made me see the woman i can become- because i see it in you. I want you to know that i picked a good man because my dad is my hero. My dad knows me and understands me. My dad often encourages me to reach a little higher. Mom you picked a real winner- and i'm happy to say today that i did too....a hug and a kiss for you, for i am truly blessed.

Love forever and always,
Courtney

Hey mom.
Just thinking. mainly about how finals week stinks. I had a really good night today. I reflected a lot. I have reasons to be a very busy girl but i appreciate that I make time to pretend like I don't have a life. That's what i like about me; at the least - I try to be carefree....somethings that distract me from this currently:
1. I work a lot - 20 + / week
2. I go to school full time--sick
3. Oh i just got engaged to my best friend
5. Attempting to plan my wedding
6. intramural basketball (sooooo hott right now) almost semis..
7. trying to stay in shape...woops
8. thinking time for life
9. I eat
10. I sleep

well i guess in trying to make myself carefree...these are really the things that make my life worth caring about eating anyway. I hate betos...but i just discovered i like their horchata on accident. only those 2 times though...not happening anymore. can't wait for this time to pass so i can just breathe a bit ;).. ya right..o well. I like to be busy with good things and friends that care about life and being happy. i don't know where hw fits into that...ew....well i gave a speech in my business class and one of the girls i had critique me on it said mean things to me. Even though she did horrible...i was mad...stayed up practicing for that...i mean theres a way to critique and there's a way to start something....big....relationship ruined....well that's enough complaining for the day...i love you...tell the family to stop crying because they miss me.....

love always
